As a family entertainment writer, the topic of movies is a big one in our home. When Quarto Publishing tapped me to be the author of this book project, it was a perfect fit!  Watching movies is one of our family’s favorite pastimes, and it's also a common bonding experience for many families.

"101 Movies To See Before You Grow Up" gives parents and kids the most important information about a film at a glance -- things like ratings, runtime and genre -- so you can plan your next movie night. The book also has bits of information and trivia for each movie located in the "Did You Know" sections on each page.  I hope this extra information will pique your interest to watch -- or re-watch -- any of the titles in this book.

Watching the films in "101 Moves" will expose kids to some of pop culture’s most influential movies, and will also help budding film enthusiasts understand the impact these movies have had on our culture.
